We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cementitious Materials Scientist / Engineer to join our team in Medley, FL. This position will be responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of existing products and development and new, low carbon cementitious materials.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, perform, analyze, and report laboratory and field experiments with cementitious materials
  • Manage product development projects from concept to launch
  • Implement new analytical testing methods
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
  • Manage laboratory data and perform advanced statistical analysis
  • Present results and recommendations to management
  • Stay informed of new developments in low carbon cementitious materials
  • Manage testing at external labs and universities
  • Collaborate with Titan Group R&D department
  • Travel – up to 10%

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • MS in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials engineering, biology, civil engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
  • Experience in analytical methods, including x‐ray diffraction, x‐ray florescence, thermogravimetric analysis, calorimetry, FTIR, ICP
  • Proficient with Design of Experiments, Statistical Analysis, and Statistical Process Control; expertise in advanced data science preferred
  • Experience in cement industry and knowledge of cement chemistry preferred
  • Hands on experimentalist and creative
  • Analytical and organized
  • Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds on a regular basis.
  • Six sigma green belt certification preferred
