Overview

As an L&D Specialist at Titan America, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning experiences to enhance the knowledge and skills of our employees. You will report directly to the Learning and Development Manager and work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to create engaging, effective, and innovative learning materials. Your contributions will directly impact our employees' performance and career growth.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Instructional Design: Create and design engaging and interactive learning content, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, videos, simulations, and assessments.
  2. Graphic Design: Design training materials, including presentations, facilitator guides, and learner guides, aligned with learning objectives and organizational goals.
  3. E-Learning Development: Utilize authoring tools to create engaging e-learning courses, incorporating multimedia elements and interactivity.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of learning content.
  5. Learning Management System (LMS): Manage and upload content to the LMS, ensuring easy access and tracking of employee progress.
  6. Needs assessments: Design and implement for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
  7. Facilitate: Design, develop, oversee and facilitate training programs, conduct in-person and virtual seminars, workshops, individual training sessions etc.
  8. Consult: collaborate with stakeholders to determine training needs and schedule training sessions. Consult with employees and their managers to suggest appropriate learning paths in support of career/professional development.
  9. Assessment Tools: Design, implement assessments.
  10. Learning Management System (LMS): Build courses, assign them to learners and track results for in-person, e-learning and virtual classes.
  11. Career coaching: provide 360 assessment debriefs and draft Individual Development Plans (IDP)
  12. Collaborate: with L&D team in support of organizational L&D initiatives.

 

Qualifications

 

  1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in instructional design, education, or a related field.
  2. Portfolio of instructional design and content development examples.
  3. Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
  4. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE), and e-learning best practices.
  5. Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
