Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile Crushing Plant Foreman to join our team. This position will be responsible for overseeing our mobile crushing operations in the field. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the crusher and related equipment. This includes maintaining and repairing equipment and leading a team of operators.

Responsibilities

  • Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, ensuring the safest environment for crew members, other Titan America employees and customers.
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate a team of operators and laborers to ensure safe and efficient operation of mobile crushing equipment.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the mobile crusher, ensuring adherence to production targets and quality standards.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Perform regular inspections, preventative and routine maintenance / repairs of crushing equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • Training: Provide training and mentorship to team members on safety procedures, equipment operations, and best practices.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between field operations and management, ensuring clear and effective communication regarding production updates and equipment status.
  • Travel: Be prepared to travel to various job sites for 4-5 days per week, including weekends, adapting to changing schedules and locations as needed.  
  • Overtime: Be willing to work overtime hours to meet project deadlines and operational needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanics or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role within a heavy equipment or construction environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of managing teams effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and other computer systems.
  • Ability to work in various outdoor conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as required.
