Overview

Titan Florida LLC is looking for a motivated, innovative, Human Resources Intern who has demonstrated initiative in pursuing a career in Human Resources for our Pennsuco facility located in Medley, Florida.  The Human Resources Intern will report to the HR Manager and will provide professional HR support while learning about essential HR functions.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through our division of responsibilities to learn about core HR functions.
  • Accept designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and potential solutions.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including opening requisitions and participating in the candidate interview and selection process to learn more about best industry practices.
  • Assist in the onboarding process to include new hire orientations, onboarding surveys, etc.
  • Assist with the local coordination of our health & wellness initiatives.
  • Maintain employee records, assuring compliance.
  • Accurately report and track candidate data as requested.
  • Maintaining training records up to date in our learning management system.
  • Perform human resources ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

This position's work schedule will be flexible to accommodate school needs, ideally between 25-29 hours.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in HR Management, Business Management or other related degree.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking system is preferred.
  • Must have an understanding of fundamental HR concepts and employment laws.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • End user expertise with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
