Overview

Titan Florida LLC seeks a Human Resources Manager to work in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Will report directly to the Florida Business Unit Human Resources Director.  Will provide professional HR support and consultation to Senior Leaders including Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers and Salaried Exempt and Non Exempt employees. Will run the daily functions of the HR Department including interviewing and hiring, administering pay, benefits, leave and enforcing company policies and practices. Will also be responsible for performance management and maintaining the immigration visa file.

Responsibilities

Will perform the following duties:

 

  • Provide Human Resource Manager support to Titan Florida LLC Corporate Center (where substantial number of employees are Spanish speakers):
    • Create & manage Positive Employee Relations Programs & Activities for Florida’s Corporate Center (10%);
    • Florida Corporate Center HR Lead providing subject-matter-expert guidance to the following (10%):
      • Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managers and 112 salaried team members.
    • Participate in Strategy Sessions with Operations (5%);
    • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute HR Programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety; and training and development (20%);
    • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations (10%);
    • Coordinate Open Enrollment. Assist employees in insurance matters (1%);
    • Prepare Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) and Termination Reports when required (5%);
    • Prepare new hire packages and conduct New Employee Orientation (5%);
    • Conduct exit interviews and prepare final termination paperwork for departing staff members (2%);
    • Support deployment of HR programs, including performance management, salary administration and implementation, staffing, headcount planning/reporting, retention and career development (2%);
    • Ensure compliance by reviewing, tracking and documenting compliance with training. This may include safety, anti-harassment, and assessments (5%); and
    • Ensure diversity initiatives are met (5%).
  • Consult with Rewards & Employee Experience department and implement programs (5%):
    • Manage Immigration / VISA Processing & Files for Florida:
      • Digitize Immigration / VISA Files;
      • Coordinate employee USCIS Immigration filings with Immigration Attorney;
      • Act as liaison between the Employee & Immigration Attorney; and
      • Audit E-Verify & I-9 Files to ensure compliance.
    • Manage Technical Recruitment process in the following areas (10%):
      • Specialty positions, including:
        • Mechanical Engineers;
        • Mining Engineers;
        • Logistics Engineers;
        • Business Analyst.
      • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies (5%).

Qualifications

The Human Resources Manager position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field and a minimum 2 years of HR Generalist and Recruiting experience. This position also requires the following:

 

  • Must have an understanding of fundamental HR concepts, employment laws, contemporary HR practices.
  • Experience with UKG Payroll Systems.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors HRIS.
  • Bilingual - English & Spanish.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues and projects concurrently.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Travel up to 10% within the United States.
